Owner and Administrator
With a background in real estate and a passion for caring for others, I created Grandparents Garden to be more than just a care home—it’s a place where seniors are treated like family. I’m hands-on in daily operations to ensure each resident receives thoughtful, respectful care. I also work as a consultant, helping others open care homes rooted in compassion and quality.
Here, care is personal—because that’s what every senior deserves.
Yesenia Sidhu
Owner and Care Coordinator
As a Nurse Practitioner specializing in adult gerontology, I’ve dedicated my career to understanding the unique needs of aging adults. My passion has always been to provide compassionate, thoughtful care that honors each person’s dignity and individuality.
At Grandparents Garden, I bring my clinical experience and personal commitment to help shape a care environment where residents feel seen, safe, and supported. Every detail of our home reflects our mission—to care for others the way we would our own loved ones.
Karen Araza
Caregiver
With a heart full of compassion and a natural gift for caregiving, Karen brings warmth, patience, and positivity to everyone she cares for. Known for her loving personality and gentle nature, she has a way of making residents feel truly seen, heard, and cared for—like family.

Whether it’s chatting about the newest series or offering style tips, Karen always brings joy, conversation, and a touch of flair to every day at Grandparents Garden.

With over five years of caregiving experience, Ed brings both skill and heart to everything he does. He’s known for his calm, dependable nature and the genuine connections he builds with each resident. Whether it’s lending a helping hand or simply sharing a laugh, Ed’s presence is always reassuring.
One of Ed’s standout qualities is his talent in the kitchen—his home-cooked meals are a favorite among residents and staff alike. When he’s not cooking or caring, you’ll likely catch him watching or talking about basketball—his favorite sport and go-to pastime. His passion, reliability, and easygoing spirit make him an invaluable part of the Grandparents Garden family.
Mm Muertegui
Caregiver
Mm is the heart of compassion and dedication at Grandparents Garden. Whether she’s working the day shift or staying up through the night, her loving and caring nature shines through in everything she does. Residents feel at ease in her presence, knowing they’re in the hands of someone who truly cares.
Outside of caregiving, Mm’s joyful spirit comes alive through her love of singing and karaoke. Her warm voice and upbeat energy often bring smiles and light moments to the home—proof that care doesn’t always come in silence, sometimes it’s in song. MM’s commitment and kindness make her a treasured part of our team.
Maico Cortez
Caregiver
Maico is a steady and caring presence during the night shift at Grandparents Garden. With a calm demeanor and a strong sense of responsibility, he ensures our residents are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while the rest of the world sleeps.
Outside of work, Maico brings that same focus and energy to the basketball court. He loves playing the game, staying active, and bringing a little friendly competition to his free time. His reliability, quiet strength, and team spirit make him an essential part of our overnight care team.
